Let's talk wedding dresses!

Today is your big day, there's a lot that needs to be done before you walk down the aisle and say "I DO".

Here's some dress tips for your big day:
1. Hang it up - make sure it doesn't crease or get dirty. Hang it off the ground, in a dry space, away from sunlight.
2. Getting ready outfit - think about what outfit you'll wear while getting ready. Remember, it needs to be easy to take off (something that doesn't go over your head but instead unbuttons - we don't want to ruin our beautiful hairstyle / smudge makeup trying to get a tight shirt over our head.) The outfit should also be loose, you don't want bra imprints in photos!)
3. Tanning products, setting sprays, perfumes can all stain / mark your dress if they haven't dried properly. Make sure you allow sufficient time for these products to dry before putting your dress on.

Despite the wintery chill in the Cape Winelands, a wonderful group of Tour Operators joined us for a property visit and delicious brunch hosted by our very own Chef and Manager Kerry Baird, alongside the Index Hotels team.

Guests explored the rich history of the manor house, strolled through our tranquil gardens, and got a taste of the peaceful escape Hawksmoor offers.
