What a fantastic day at the TravelPeople SA Cape Town MICE workshop! We were thrilled to present Hawksmoor House to industry professionals and fellow travel aficionados. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the vibrant atmosphere. Special appreciation goes to Louise Kilian for giving us this platform, and Adriaan Fourie from Wesgro for sharing invaluable insights about the Western Cape MICE industry. Let's continue to foster connections and keep the tourism industry thriving!

Due to the severe storm and fires that have swept through the Cape, Hawksmoor House will be temporarily closed until further notice. Our top priority is ensuring the well-being of our guests and staff.

We are grateful to report that Hawksmoor House did not sustain any structual damage despite the fires coming dangerously close. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the firefighters and our dedicated onsite team, who we affectionately refer to as our super-hero squad, we were able to safegaurd our historic property.

As we work diligently to clean up, we remain hopefull to reopen very soon. Please stay tuned for updates.

Our hearts are heavy as we think of our neighbouring farms and communities who have endured unimaginable losses. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.
