ackpackers is the best place to stay, come on in for a drink at our fully stocked bar and you can tell us. Long Street Backpackers is the heart of Cape Town's nightlife with 24h police surveillance. We are the only hostel in Cape Town that has a police surveillance camera right on our doorstep! It's the center of all backpacking activity. Long Street is to Cape Town what King's Cross is to Sydney or Khoisan Rd is to Bangkok. We are in the city center and therefore within walking distance of everything that you would need. Long Street is the busiest party street in Cape Town, ask anybody! Even though we are in the city center, you wouldn't know it sitting (or sunbathing!) in our sunny flower filled court yard.
