With a common entrance lobby, they can also be easily combined to accommodate parties of up to 8 guests. Situated on the first and second floors, we are well secured for your peace of

mind. The apartments have panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island, the Cape Town Stadium and Green Point Common. With full sun throughout the day at the front and a partly shaded balcony/courtyard facing Signal Hill – a National Park, both apartments have facilities for eating either in the dining area or ‘al fresco.’
The location is an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of Cape Town and its surrounds. With all modern conveniences incorporated in a traditional Victorian house, your stay will be one of easy comfort and enjoyment. Self-catering accommodation with this much charm and style is rare.

Elke dag genieten van het prachtige uitzicht. Zeer ruim appartement, fijn bed. Op korte loopafstand supermarkt en restaurants. Ideale uitvalsbasis om Kaapstad te bezoeken.

Stuart is a wonderful host! Upon arrival he had organized basic necessities (coffee, milk, bread etc.) since we arrived quite late in Cape Town. He was quick to help us with queries in and around the flat. For us girls it was absolutely wonderful to walk everywhere - the stadium (concerts), supermarket just around the corner and restaurants nearby. The flat is clean and spacious and I would definitely come and visit again with my family.

Braeside House is in a fantastic, safe location and within approximately 20 minutes’ walking distance to the V & A Waterfront. The loft apartment is exactly as shown in the photographs, only better, and the views are lovely. It is really spacious, light and airy and very comfortable. We loved the character of it, being an old post Victorian house. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals and we particularly appreciated the eggs, bread, butter, milk, juice, tea and coffee that Stuart had thoughtfully provided so that we didn’t need to go out again after our long drive. Such a lovely gesture. The neighbourhood is very quiet and just minutes away is a supermarket and several restaurants. We highly recommend Braeside as a place to stay in Cape Town. Thank you, Stuart. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was also a pleasure to spend a bit of time with you on our last evening!
This is not really a criticism because it is made very clear when booking, but the off-street parking might be a bit of a squeeze if you have a large car.

We were welcomed very friendly. The fridge was filled with water, orange juice, sweets and other amenities. There was a fresh bread ready in the kitchen. The property had a lot of information about things to do in Cape Town and the surrounding area. The towels were changed twice in 5 days and the accommodation was fixed. We highly recommend the loft. It is very centrally located to the city and waterfront. The view from the bedroom is unique!

What an amazing place, central to the promenade. Easy to use Uber to get back to. Bread, milk, butter etc was supplied. This is such a wonderful surprise. There is a great view from the lounge... Great having satellite TV to watch after a long site seeing day. Lots of facilities that we did not use, washing machine, BBQ, coffee machine. Everything was great. Definitely recommend and would stay again

The apartment is very spacious and also suitable for a longer stay, with its own parking facilities. We find the location in Greenpoint, walking distance to some restaurants and also to the waterfront very good. We were greeted warmly with fresh bread for breakfast, chocolate among other things. The house is a nice old Villa. The WiFi also works on loadshedding. The beds are very comfortable.
You have to be aware that it is a very stylish, but also a really old decor, apart from modern kitchen appliances - with creaky wooden floors - which would have partially needed a renovation, for example, with the windows. But overall we found it very comfortable and would come back.

Braeside House is a heritage graded Victorian house within the Green Point heritage protected zone. That prevents us from completely eliminating the creaking floorboards and rattling windows.

This was a fantastic stay . Thanks to the owner Stewart and the house keeper Teresita . It is a home that has been converted into two apartments. Upstairs is a one bedroom with extra double Murphy bed in the lounge area if needed . This apartment has beautiful views of the Capetown waterfront . The downstairs apartment is two bedroom two bathroom with large kitchen dinning lounge . All rooms are beautiful and the apartment is fully equipped with anything you may need . Location is great . 7 min walk to supermarket , bottle shop and cafes . 20 min walk to VA waterfront Mall . 30!min walk to town . There is a bus stop and regular buses if you prefer not to walk . Warning . It is uphill on the way home . Stuart and Teresa live on site in their own apartments however are close by if you need help with anything at all . This is a great find fir a great price if you are not looking for a five star hotel . We loved our stay and will definitely return to Braeside House for our next stay .

The house is very good for this price. They provided butter, milk, fresh orange juice, herbs, vinegar and oil for free. There were also bathrobes. The location is great, close to the waterfront and Green Point. There is a free parking. You have a great view of the stadium and the city. Towels were provided. The landlord was very nice and even lent us a suitcase scale.
A bit steep stairs, but no problem for us.
