Goede Hoop wine estate offers a different and very enjoyable wine experience, which i just have to share. It was a very pleasant evening spent with some people who were more knowledgeable than I on wine matters. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and very soon after introductions we felt pretty much at home. The evening started with a wine tasting after which we were led to their private cellar for dinner. One has to book a group of minimum 10 guests to appreciate the full experience and booking is essential. All the guests are encouaged to participate in the evening by being quizzed on the wine facts. The owner shared delightful stories of his experiences and his journey of winemaking. It's all really loads of fun and we became quite loud as the evening progressed. A private chef prepared the delicious meals which added to the experience. I would highly recommend this place and I'm sure it will score brownie points for any chaperone, tour guide or organizer.

A cold wintery day with intermittent sunshine and intermittent rain always creates a little anxiousness whenever im doing a tour along our coastline. But cape town never really dissapoints . Sunshine appeared conveniently when I stopped for a photo opportunity. And rain started to fall just as we stopped for wine tasting at Cosy steenberg estate and for dinner at the hussar gril in Tokai
All in all my guests were more than happy and very impressed by our beautiful city

Cape Town Tourism hosted Youth in Tourism event at the Robben Island Museum at the waterfront on Thursday 12 June.
All members were invited to share their journeys as role players in the Tourism industry, and also to inspire the youth.
I am happy to say that I met some very enthusiastic young graduates from cape towns colleges who will proudly be the ambassadors for our beautiful city.
Cape Town Tourism has opened up doors for all communities and has offered them a platform to showcase their skills and talents and also to share their stories with international guests.
This event gave us as entrepreneurs and service providers an opportunity to share, inspire and encourage the newcomers to the industry.
I wish the students well on their endeavors and all the success for their futures.

If ever you find yourself close to century city, The long March to Freedom is a monumental procession of 100 life size statues of all the heros who shaped South Africa's history. Do take some time to experience this magnificent exhibition. It's well worth the visit. Entrance fee is R20 and R75 for a guided tour .
