Heritage Day in South Africa is widely known as "Braai Day" because citizens celebrate their diverse cultures by gathering around a traditional barbecue.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu used the term “The Rainbow Nation” to describe the country's rich mix of cultures, languages, and traditions.

This heritage day we celebrate our very own ‘Sangoma in training’ – Thandeka
A sangoma is a traditional spiritual healer and diviner, particularly within Zulu and Xhosa communities, who diagnoses and treats physical, emotional, and spiritual illnesses by communicating with ancestral spirits.
