A morning at Babylonstoren 🌿
There’s a particular kind of quiet that settles over the farm before the day gets going, mist still sitting low over the vineyards, the garden just waking up.
Brunch in Bloom was the perfect place to start: fresh, farm-grown ingredients, plated among the blooms, with the mountains standing watch in the background.
From there, a wander through the gardens, eight hectares of edible and ornamental beauty, laid out in clipped hedges and geometric beds that change with every season.
End at the bird hide, tucked quietly at the water’s edge. Sit, go still, and let the birdsong take over. It’s one of those small Cape moments that stays with you.
