Inspired by the Ocean

Every year, the Two Oceans Aquarium Turtle Conservation Centre rescues dozens of stranded loggerhead turtle hatchlings that wash ashore along our coastline, each requiring specialist care and rehabilitation. As all species of sea turtles face increasing threats, every hatchling rehabilitated plays an important role in protecting the future of these remarkable ocean travellers.

Through the Centre's dedicated conservation efforts, rescued hatchlings are given the best possible chance of returning to the ocean.

We are proud to have adopted a turtle hatchling who we have affectionately named Granger. Recently the team had the privilege of visiting him. He has been keeping busy in the rehabilitation pool—and judging by this video, is looking wonderfully active and curious. 💙
