Table Mountain Cableway closes due to strong winds

Yesterday at sunset, I stood on the beach with about 12 other photographers, waiting in anticipation for the beginning of the sunset season.

There were some really nice high clouds in the sky and the sea spray wasn't that bad for Blouberg beach.

When the sun set, we got some lovely soft colours in the sky, those dreamy peach and pink colours, but it was not one of those amazing sunsets you remember forever.

This is the nature of the beast when you are hunting weather-dependent landscapes, but we all know it isn't as fun if you get it the first try :)
