Cape Town safety advice we’d give our own friends.

・Don’t hike the mountain alone.

・Be aware of your belongings when you’re out.

・If you’re going somewhere unfamiliar, ask someone who knows the area first.

・At night, always drive/Uber, don’t walk.

And if something doesn’t feel right, change the plan.

Cape Town is an incredible city to explore, and a little local knowledge goes a long way.

That’s one of the reasons we value having a team around who knows this city and a community of travellers to explore it with.

Cape Town for a few days? Great. Cape Town for a few weeks? Even better.

If your laptop is coming along for the trip, The BIG has plenty of space to find a quiet corner, get some work done and take a call without balancing your laptop on your hostel bed.

Then close the screen and you’ve got the pool, communal spaces and a whole group of travellers downstairs.

Work when you need to. Cape Town when you don’t. 💻
