Noordhoek is located below Chapman’s Peak, half-way between Cape Town and Cape Point, so it is perfectly situated for scenic Cape Peninsula outings. Noordhoek is best known for its picturesque shoreline, its long, wide, sandy beach and for the large horse population, as riding on the long sandy beach is a great attraction. Sunset Splendour has five spacious apartments decorated with modern furniture and fully equipped kitchenettes. All the apartments have an open plan living area with a lovely family lounge and a dining area which leads onto a private patio and garden overlooking the beautiful views of the sea, lakes and mountains surrounding us. During your stay at Sunset Splendour we would love to share with you our special memories of our African safaris via the interior decoration of Sunset Splendour's apartments. There is peace of mind security in place (24/7 monitoring) with access only through an electronic gate. The beautiful one acre secure garden is a place where kids can play in safety. You will also enjoy the large swimming pool and undercover braai area. Sunset Splendour is in walking distance to the various shopping malls which makes shopping for food and supplies easy. Sunset Splendour is a 5 minute drive from the beautiful Noordhoek beach and Chapman's Peak Drive on the Atlantic coast. It is also a 10 minute drive to Fish Hoek beach in False Bay, a more protected beach, which is great for swimming. It is also close-by to Silvermine Nature Reserve, Cape Point Vineyards wine-estate & restaurant and also the Noordhoek farm village, a quaint shopping/craft village with great restaurants and play area for kids. Sunset Splendour prides itself on its environmental friendliness. You will notice some big water tanks on the property and this is used to catch all of the roof rainwater. We are capable to store up to 60000 litres of rain water in the tanks. This water then gets pump back into the guesthouse for hot-water and toilet usage. The hot water in the guesthouse is heated by hot-water-solar-panels to reduce electricity usage. Low energy lights are installed throughout the property. All glass windows and doors are double glazed to further insulate the house and reduce energy consumption. We plan to soon add solar panels to further reduce our electricity usage and further reduce our energy demand and CO2 emissions

Our Chobe apartment is a two-bedroom luxury unit with a separate open plan living area and kitchenette. The open plan living area is downstairs with a lovely family lounge and a dining area which leads onto a private patio and garden overlooking the beautiful views of the sea and mountains around us. The kitchenette is fully equipped with an induction stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils and crockery & cutlery. The main bedroom (which is upstairs) consists of one large room with a double-sized bed, en-suite bathroom with a shower. A sliding door opens onto a private patio with a sea view where you can experience the beautiful sunsets over Noordhoek beach. The second bedroom (which is downstairs) consists of one large room with 2 single beds, en- suite bathroom with a shower. Free Wi-Fi internet access and Dstv Guesthouse Bouquet are available. Our Kalahari-1 apartment is a one-bedroom luxury unit with a separate open plan living area and kitchenette. The open plan living area with a lovely family lounge and a dining area leads onto a private patio and garden overlooking the beautiful views of the sea and mountains around us. The main bedroom consists of one large room with a queen-sized bed, en-suite bathroom with a shower and there is a sliding door opening onto a private patio with a partial sea view where you can experience the beautiful sunsets over Noordhoek beach. The Kalahari-1 apartment sleeps 2 guests comfortably and there is a fold away bed available on request for a child under 10 years. An inter-leading door connects with Kalahari-2 so the two apartments can be rented together. Kalahari-2
Our Kalahari-2 apartment is a one large room luxury unit with an open plan living area and kitchenette. The unit consists of one large room with two single beds (which can be converted into king size bed upon request), en-suite bathroom with a shower. The living area are equipped with a dining table with chairs, a luxury couch, and leads onto a private patio overlooking the swimming pool, undercover braai area and the beautiful one acre garden. The Kalahari-2 apartment sleeps 2 guests comfortably. An inter-leading door connects with Kalahari-1 so the two apartments can be rented together. Kruger
Our Kruger apartment is our premier apartment. Ideal for a couple and is perfectly suited for honeymooners or for that special romantic getaway. The apartment consist of one large room with a queen size bed, a living area with a luxury Italian leather couch, an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and bath, a fully equipped kitchenette, dining table and chairs and leads onto a private patio overlooking the swimming pool, undercover braai area and the beautiful one acre garden.
