The dam levels are on the rise! We are looking forward to a rainy winter season and FULL dams. :)

The Western Cape Government has said the average dam levels for the province has improved from last week's 16.6% to 19% on Monday.

Day Zero verschoben, Wasserkrise Kapstadt | Kapstadtmagazin.de

Gute Nachrichten!
Day Zero wurde erneut verschoben - statt April wird der "Tag Null" nun wohl erst im Juni statt finden.

Dennoch sollen alle weiterhin Wasser sparen und nicht mehr als 50 Liter Wasser am Tag verbrauchen!

Good news!
Day Zero is postponed - the city of cape town suggest Day Zero to happen in June instead of April.

This however means that everybody still needs to keep saving water and to shorten the waterusage to 50l per person!

although Cape Town is currently facing a water crisis, you can be assured that we are going to provide enough water for all our guests.
We only ask our guests to be thoughtful, and for example, only change towels and bed linen, if desired and take short showers.

A shortage may occur in May, but from that period we are hoping for rain or we will order water from an independent supplier.

In our opinion, you do not need to worry and we are looking forward to welcoming you soon!

obwohl sich die Stadt Kapstadt zur Zeit mit der Wasserkrise beschäftigt, können Sie darauf vertrauen, dass wir ausreichend Wasser zur Verfügung stellen.
Wir bitten unsere Gäste allerdings das Wasser mit Rücksicht zu nutzen, d.h. nicht zu ausgiebig zu duschen – und wir wechseln Handtücher und Bettwäsche nicht mehr automatisch nach zwei Tagen, sondern nur auf Wunsch.

Sollte es dennoch zu Engpässen kommen, werden wir Wasser von unabhängigen Zulieferern kaufen.
Aus unserer Sicht besteht daher kein Grund zur Sorge und wir freuen uns schon sehr Sie bald bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen.
