International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.

IWD has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group or organization specific.

10 days to go until 2023 Cape Town E-Prix - The Gen3 electric cars will race their way through the Green Point and Waterfront precincts, with Signal Hill and other famous Cape Town landmarks as the track backdrop. This 2.94 km, 12-turn track is predicted to be one of the fastest in the series and it is a mere 14 minutes drive from The Lenox.
