Just a short drive from Umnenge is the absolutely breath-taking Smitswinkel Bay, only accessible via boat or, more commonly, by a moderate hike down the mountain.

It’s a must see while you are visiting the Peninsula!

We recommend packing a picnic, swimming/snorkelling gear, a good book and of course your camera, hike down in the early morning and spend the day relaxing on the secluded beach.
