The interior décor has been restricted to loose velvet-pile carpets on the original Oregon pine flooring, solid dark-wooden and mostly antiqu

e furniture, polished brass chandeliers and bedside lamps, and gilt-framed reproductions of historic Cape seascape paintings. Bathrooms have glass-screened showers, traditional Cape slated floors and excessively large mirrors.
