WOW! We live here!! Had the most beautiful 8km walk with Gavin, in Silvermine, this morning, misty and cool and the flowers were out in all their splendor. We are so blessed to have this beauty on our doorstep.

Only 5 days to go! We hope to see you at our 11th Open Gardens this weekend, 18 and 19 October. I say it every year........... Pooh Corner has NEVER looked so lovely. Come and enjoy ours, as well as 10 other fantastic Gardens in Noordhoek this weekend. xx

My "Book lover" husband has always wanted his own Community Book exchange box. It was great fun getting this box ready, and keeping it a surprise for his birthday. Please feel free to stop on your way past Pooh Corner to swap a book or two - he has a fabulously eclectic collection!

It's Bromeliad season at Pooh Corner. A summer delight. The forest and parts of the garden have been transformed by these magical and strange pink flowers, growing through whirls of unfriendly serated leaves.
