A Humble Stay in the Heart of Cape Town
St. Paul’s Guesthouse accommodates up to 35 people in 9 stylishly decorated rooms. We offer 3 rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and 6 family rooms, with shared bathroom facilities: we can set up all rooms to accommodate up to 4 beds per room, depending on the size of your travelling party. Our personal touch will always make you feel at home.
The historic house dates back to the late 19th Century and was originally used as a maternity home with 9 wards: it was converted into a Guest House in 1993, by Rev. Michael Owens, a priest at St. Paul’s Mission Church Parish.
You’ll love our Parish in the springtime, summer, autumn and winter. Warm and welcoming, the Guest House was started as an alternative option to the expensive hotel establishments, having as its focus, accommodation for priests and travellers whom could not afford to stay at hotels. Our friendly staff live on the premises and are at your service 24/7. You’ll find our guest house superbly clean and well managed, down to the last detail. It is a humble abode, but the location is super central- a walk away from everything in town and located on the fabulous Bree Street.
Our Conference Centre accommodates 20-30 people and has its own chairs, tables, projector and rest rooms. We are also open to preparing meals or tea for your groups upon request.
