NATURE’S RHYTHM🦀

The Wild Coast is a living, breathing ecosystem—and right now, it’s holding its breath.

If you’ve visited us recently, you’ll notice the beach looks a little different. The rocks are tucked under a heavy blanket of sand, and a lack of rain has caused our river mouth to narrow significantly.

Why is this happening? Without significant rainfall, there isn’t enough pressure from the river to "flush" the sand out to sea. This leads to siltation that covers the rocky homes of our local crabs and makes it harder for fish to migrate between the river and the ocean.

What we’re doing in the meantime: While we wait for the heavens to open and the river to roar again, we aren't sitting idle! We are currently upgrading our fishing block, adding new poles, and making the area 100% angler-ready. 🎣

We’re making sure that as soon as nature restores the balance and the fish start running, you’ll have the best seat in the house to cast a line. Nature has a way of restoring itself, and that first "flush" is going to be a sight to behold!
