Hartsvriende Martie en Christof uit Amerika wat met hul besoek aan Suid-Afrika by Rozendal kom kuier het, se terugvoer (let wel, hulle het incognito probeer insluip sonder om my vooraf te waarsku, maar helaas... uitgevang, ha ha!). Dis net jammer dat ons vol bespreek was, anders het ons hul na 'n grootter kamer geskuif, en jammer dat ek nie daar kon wees nie:
"Our second night was meant to be a surprise for our friend, Dagmar.
But she is on top of things happening at her guesthouse in Centurion! On our way over we were interrogated about what we are doing and where we are going… we had to come clean and admit it was us that booked a one-night stand, I mean stay, at her guesthouse. We were told we should have let her know that there would be special guests, because she could have given us a bigger room. Of course we objected that neither our circumference nor our egos need “extra room”! She laughed and said, no, it is for the large suitcases! Clearly she has seen us travelling before …
We were spoilt rotten again, with a special welcome gift! And we had a very relaxing stay in the “snug little room” with our large set of suitcases! 😁
Next morning we were treated to a hearty breakfast and lots of conversation from the friendly hostess, Tannie Suzette, as well as guests Oom Ben and Tannie Amanda from Witrivier se Wêreld.
After a longer than planned breakfast session, where I even ordered a couple extra items, because Tannie Suzette said “yes, of course you can!”, and we have learned about many more things of this world than we can remember, we took a few pictures with the friendly staff and were on our way to the next kuier.
