Sadawa Game Reserve Sadawa Game Reserve offers unique Karoo accommodation with its vast landscapes, breath-taking sunset

Sadawa Game Reserve was established in 1992 and is located just outside Ceres. We offer a unique Karoo-experience with the vast landscapes, breath-taking sunsets and indigenous fauna and flora of this truly majestic South African Biome. The Sadawa-Karoo area is rich in history with various Bushmen settlement remains still visible and the “Vergete Groot Pad" that travelled through the middle of the farm many years ago. By day it is a vast landscape filled with indigenous flora and boundless blue skies. At night the skies become a stargazer’s dream with vast expanses of glittering stars you will never see in the city.

There are various indigenous plants growing on the farm, many of which have medicinal properties. Wild game that one can expect to see include Springbuck, Ostriches, Oryx, Eland and many more.

Enjoy a restful getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Switch off and break away to enjoy nature and all it has to offer!

Katryn is 5 months old and it's time for her to meet her wild counterparts and see what happens. She was so excited to see them. Spent the whole night with them, but came home early morning to rest in her own bed, get some milk and grace us with her beauty.

Hopefully this will happen more frequently as she makes her way back to the veld.

As you can see, all is well with Katryn and Lila. They love their evening walks with Wh***ey🐕, and sometimes Stokey🐈 if he can keep up. Here they are having a "pronk" party.

We have another new addition to Sadawa 🍼. Lila is 3 days old. She was found all alone and very hungry in the veld. She is drinking nicely now and gets stronger everyday. Here she is testing out her legs and playing with her new sister Katryn (3.5 months old). Many guests have met Katryn over the last few months - she loves greeting and meeting new people. Here's to hoping she and Lila will form a great welcoming party at Sadawa. 🥰🌿
