Aliwal Shoal Sands Situated on the KZN South Coast. The house overlooks the Aliwal Shoal and is right on the beach, in Clansthal, 5 km north of Scottburgh.

Activities
Scottburgh, with its super beach facilities and shops, is about 6 kms down the road. The Aliwal Shoal Scuba Diving club is in Umkomaas, a few kilometres north of the cottage. Croc World is only 1 km from the cottage. There is a lovely restaurant and pub at the Lazy Moose which is only a few hundred metres away which also has a swimming pool.

Clansthal beach is now a fully protected marine conservation area. This status will ensure that our marine life has a strong chance of survival for years to come.

The conservation area restricts harvesting or consumptive activities, which include but are not restricted to – fishing, catch and release, harvesting of mussels, oysters, bait, fish or marine vegetation for fish tanks and bait organisms, crayfishing or spearfishing.

You are welcome to enjoy swimming, snorkelling, free diving, SCUBA, surfing, kite surfing, SUP and other non-consumptive activities on our beautiful strip of coastline.
