Flanked on 2 sides by sandstone cliffs and home to a large overhanging cave with perennial waterfall, the cottage is surrounded by fruit trees and is along
side a river. This is a tranquil paradise. Built in country French style with iconic Clarens sandstone, the luxury fully-equipped unit sleeps 6 persons and is made up of 3 bedrooms each with their own entrance. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom (corner bath and shower), one room has a double bed and the other made up of 2 ΒΎ beds. Each room has coffee/tea facilities. The bed linen is luxury crisp white percale with feather duvets and pillows and soft towels are provided for each guest. Upstairs comprises of one en-suite bedroom with king size bed and the bathroom has both a bath and shower. Luxury percale linen with feather duvets and pillows and soft towels are also provided. This is accessed via an external staircase. The country style open plan kitchen and dining room upstairs have wonderful views of the property and mountains, full HD DSTV, DVD player and sound system is provided upstairs in the living area. A cast iron fireplace keeps the lounge cozy on winter nights. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove and convection oven, a fridge and freezer, dishwasher and microwave. A large open braai downstairs and fire pit for summer nights. Each bedroom has a heater for those winter nights, extra blankets are provided and each bed is fitted with an electric blanket. Each bathroom also has a heater. The garden is fenced in and is safe for children, secure parking inside. The cottage is situated on the property which is 5 HA and on which there is the cave and old orchards. A large variety of birdlife, Grey Duiker, Porcupine and Dassies can be seen around the area. A meandering river path on the property takes you up from the orchards alongside the river all the way up to the cave and in summer the little stream flows gently.
