DID YOU KNOW? 💡

Clarens was the first town in South Africa to take control of its own load-shedding?

Instead of simply switching off entire areas during load-shedding, Clarens pioneered a community load-curtailment system. Residents and businesses work together to reduce electricity use when the national grid is under pressure, helping keep the town’s lights on.

Pretty fitting for a town that now has its very own Festival of Lights, don’t you think? ✨

There’s a lot more to a game drive than what you spot from the vehicle. 😉

At Andes, every drive is carefully planned and led by experienced guides who know the farm, its wildlife, and the flora that makes this part of the Free State so special.

Come for the views and wildlife. Leave knowing a little more about what you saw along the way.
