Loving the self creates the strongest building blocks in life.

Hello there. My name is Maria Jensen. I am a volunteer researcher of projects suitable for MINSA.
The Biolodge concept required such research. The premisses were bought and developed in 1998 by concept designer Beni Stilborg. The subject stress had occupied me ever since someone had told me that 'some form of stress is healthy' ... well ... I disagree ... it sounded to me like he said; 'some form of cancer is healthy'.
There are many stress-triggers - during our days. But a 'good night sleep alleviates the stress of each day...
According to my sleep research (1987 to1990) I found the main reason for build up stress related to bad sleeping habits. Masking its symptoms in any way - does not address the cause. It is impossible to avoid the psychosomatic damage inflicted by stress if one does not recognise the underlying cause.
In an all-natural sleep environment - the healthy body only moved about 20 times... Why is that relevant to the subject stress? Because the many extra movements the sleeping body has to endure on non-biologic textiles, does interrupt vital delta functions ...better known as rejuvenation. Perhaps you want to know more about my sleep-research?
Thus far the task of making anyone aware about health-keeping benefits of natural sleep in a society that offers ready available allopathic crutches; seems as impossible as trying to catch the wind between my fingers..
Perhaps one needs to start teaching the simplicity of personal natural health keeping at kindergarten level. However; to me it has always be a challenge to make adults aware of something they do not already know... something that seems generally impossible in South Africa It usually takes those I know thirty year before they recognise my messages - each time I am told that I am thirty years ahead ... it sounds like an echo from the past ..
Until I can attract staff with the correct credential and interests for the Biolodge concept and project, the Biolodge premisses in Darling, Western Cape South Africa, will be called Biolodge House and serve as a venue for local travellers and tourists; by booking through Airbnb.com
Live well

"There is no passion in a life that is less than the one you are capable of living" I was inspired by Nelson Mandela's words and wrote this article to inspire all who want to learn how to live a full life in a healthy body

Our global economic leadership accomplished that the last four generations are now a re-active-mass – than individuals who live their purpose. Mass education prescribes a curriculum that provides us generally with learned skills and the perception that we must function. We generally use the best years of our lives to work for the commodities we produce. In other words, we work for profit hunters but with the illusion that we get the benefits.
Fear of not making ‘it’ - without being employed - is a prominent part that stems from mass-education that started at kindergarten age. Our children and we are taught to focuses as adults - according to our left-brain ability to absorb text-book material. Our natural lateral thinking ability is not encouraged and often punished so severely when we were children, that we as adults no longer dear to ask questions. We have generally become re-active competitive robots! There is no harmony between our work and privacy. We work for money and only de-stress on the last week of our yearly 3-week holiday. There is no time in our daily schedules to study or reflect on our own bodily needs, functions - or on our purpose.
Heal is a four-letter word because we do not know that our body is self-healing. Fear is always lack of knowledge. Lack of body-maintenance knowledge makes us pay insurance policies. We place out ‘trust’ in our health authorities and when our stress and ‘like to eat’ what tastes and looks ‘nice’ presents symptoms, we either take an advertised or prescribed allopathic or homoeopathic remedy. If the quick fix does not give the results we expect - we take our body to a doctor or hospital - like we take our broken car to a mechanic. In each case, we put our trust in someone else’s hands – we know about the quality of the job differs from mechanic to the next, but never question the work of our healthcare individual. The reason we need to consult a professional in both cases lays on the fact that we have not made time available to learn how to keep our body or for that matter our vehicle from breaking down. The difference between a car and a body is that we can always get a new car. Any child can at a young age be taught how to take care of health. Why is this not a major part of our children's daily education?

I love life with passion!

Be body-friendly and read this little article;
Things to know about salmon

Some aquaculture proponents claim that fish farming especially salmon and trout farming eases pressure on wild fish populations, but most ocean advocates disagree.

One National Academy of Sciences study found that sea lice from salmon farming operations killed up to 95 percent of juvenile wild salmon migrating past them.

And two other studies—one in western Canada and the other in England—found that farmed salmon accumulate more cancer-causing PCBs and dioxins than wild salmon due to pesticides circulating in the ocean that get absorbed by the sardines, anchovies and other fish that are ground up as feed for the fish farms.

A recent survey of U.S. grocery stores found that farmed salmon typically contains 16 times the PCBs found in wild salmon; other studies in Canada, Ireland and Great Britain reached similar conclusions.

My question is: Why is there no official research done of the chemically farmed vegetables?

Traces of PCBs, dioxins and pesticides have being detected in fish - who swim in contaminated water…
PCBs, dioxins and pesticides have long been suspected to be mitigating factors to the causation cancer. Any human with a bit of common sense would ask this question; Would the same not apply to land-grown foods such as commercially farmed fruits and vegetables that grow in a PCBs dioxins and pesticides contaminated soil? ...

The next step would be to question the meat of animals that are commercially reared on PCBs and pesticides contaminated water and fodder …

A question:

• Why are we generally so reluctant to ask our food-convenience supermarket managers to give us the choice of buying organically grown foods?

• Why is government making it so difficult for farmers who want to grow body-friendly food instead of toxic varieties?

Turmeric the spice that can dissolve deadly brain plague

If you are concerned about maintaining the health of your brain as you age this one is a must to read.

Many of us middle-aged individuals who want to take care of our health the natural way run out of easy options. We read about the many supermarket foods produced with different poisons to allow better crops and shelf life options for those who grow and sell these commercially produced fresh and processed varieties.
We look at expiry dates and read the small prints for years – But - the convenience of getting out pallet and tummy satisfied; as well as the year-long food habits most of us developed as children, somehow keep us bound to these familiar products..
The reasons why our health authorities do not demand the poison lable on additives is surely just because they do not kill us instantly – like swallowing a teaspoon of arsine or drinking a cup of brake fluid would. But our system does not adapt to the poisons, and even though we swallow allowed amounts of them every day does not make these chemical compounds safe. I can allow you to smoke, that does not mean that the chemicals that keep the to***co moist - but resistant to mildew for a long time and to***co - initially sprayed with toxins before processed - still burning, do not harm the health of those who inhale the many combinations these chemicals synthesise one the cigarette is lid. There is ample proof of the side effects of inhaling first as well as second hand fumes from ci******es – and still - we can purchase them over the counter…. The difference is that we have been made aware of the dangers to our health and that gives us the choice to leave to***co products on the shelve – or to carry on smoking… True Consumer choices is all I would like you to have… It seems a task for our democratic administration … but somehow this task does not extend beyond cigarette and alcohol laws. My suspected reasons are that consumers being hooked on either; creates sufficient revenue anyway…
Now what would happen if All consumers were truly informed about the damage commercial farming and food processing has on our long term health?
One of them is the fact that the loss of memory and mental abilities to cognitive declined drastically in our plastic age.
The current world statistics on the prevalence of cognitive decline does not look pretty. By age 65, sadly 1 in 8 people who live near globally supplied Shopping malls or supermarkets, suffer from severe cognitive decline.

Researchers have been working for years to develop an effective treatment and it's becoming apparent that pharmaceuticals are not the solution. Unfortunately, the medical establishment budgets are focused on finding a "cure" without any research conducted on causation. Private initiatives that have been scientifically proven prevention strategies are totally ignored by those who could bring about changes. And so is the part of the Hippocratic oath; ‘do no harm’ . It has generally speaking been replaced with ; ‘Make more money”!
Joshua Corn is the Editor-in-Chief of Live in the Now, a fast growing natural health publication. According to Joshua he has a passion for natural health and his passion drives him to seek the truth about the causes of health problems. Just like a few others on this globe, Joshua seems to spend his time to educate people on alternative solutions. In Asia the amazingly effective way to protect our brain from the ravages of cognitive decline is used since 1900. But there are a few different anti oxygen’s in herbs right on our doorsteps - that boost our thinking and memory abilities quickly, naturally and safely.

One of the Indian nature's brain- miracle is turmeric
This herb has shown more promise than any other. It's a scientific fact that curcumin, an antioxidant compound found in the root of the turmeric plant, is one of the most powerful natural brain protecting we know up to date.

You might not be familiar with turmeric, but I strongly suggest that you include an organic grown root; powdered into this yellow powder – ( not the commercially sold irradiated version you can purchase in your supermarket) on your spice shelf. According to Joshua ‘s information, India has the highest per capita consumption of turmeric - and the lowest incidence of cognitive decline worldwide….
I need to check this out!

My take on Tumeric?
After reading many articles on this herb placed by different sources I was somewhat not too convinced as most of them were sponsored by revenue sources. So I gave it a try twenty years ago … Well my brain is still functioning according to my needs …
If nothing else you learn from this article, you might understand that the active ingredient curcumin deserves some attention from government appointed researchers who actually base their medication-research on causation of the illness they claim to want to cure – rather than carrying on focusing on masking their symptoms with one fits all broad-spectrum chemical compounds.
