Turmeric the spice that can dissolve deadly brain plague
If you are concerned about maintaining the health of your brain as you age this one is a must to read.
Many of us middle-aged individuals who want to take care of our health the natural way run out of easy options. We read about the many supermarket foods produced with different poisons to allow better crops and shelf life options for those who grow and sell these commercially produced fresh and processed varieties.
We look at expiry dates and read the small prints for years – But - the convenience of getting out pallet and tummy satisfied; as well as the year-long food habits most of us developed as children, somehow keep us bound to these familiar products..
The reasons why our health authorities do not demand the poison lable on additives is surely just because they do not kill us instantly – like swallowing a teaspoon of arsine or drinking a cup of brake fluid would. But our system does not adapt to the poisons, and even though we swallow allowed amounts of them every day does not make these chemical compounds safe. I can allow you to smoke, that does not mean that the chemicals that keep the to***co moist - but resistant to mildew for a long time and to***co - initially sprayed with toxins before processed - still burning, do not harm the health of those who inhale the many combinations these chemicals synthesise one the cigarette is lid. There is ample proof of the side effects of inhaling first as well as second hand fumes from ci******es – and still - we can purchase them over the counter…. The difference is that we have been made aware of the dangers to our health and that gives us the choice to leave to***co products on the shelve – or to carry on smoking… True Consumer choices is all I would like you to have… It seems a task for our democratic administration … but somehow this task does not extend beyond cigarette and alcohol laws. My suspected reasons are that consumers being hooked on either; creates sufficient revenue anyway…
Now what would happen if All consumers were truly informed about the damage commercial farming and food processing has on our long term health?
One of them is the fact that the loss of memory and mental abilities to cognitive declined drastically in our plastic age.
The current world statistics on the prevalence of cognitive decline does not look pretty. By age 65, sadly 1 in 8 people who live near globally supplied Shopping malls or supermarkets, suffer from severe cognitive decline.
Researchers have been working for years to develop an effective treatment and it's becoming apparent that pharmaceuticals are not the solution. Unfortunately, the medical establishment budgets are focused on finding a "cure" without any research conducted on causation. Private initiatives that have been scientifically proven prevention strategies are totally ignored by those who could bring about changes. And so is the part of the Hippocratic oath; ‘do no harm’ . It has generally speaking been replaced with ; ‘Make more money”!
Joshua Corn is the Editor-in-Chief of Live in the Now, a fast growing natural health publication. According to Joshua he has a passion for natural health and his passion drives him to seek the truth about the causes of health problems. Just like a few others on this globe, Joshua seems to spend his time to educate people on alternative solutions. In Asia the amazingly effective way to protect our brain from the ravages of cognitive decline is used since 1900. But there are a few different anti oxygen’s in herbs right on our doorsteps - that boost our thinking and memory abilities quickly, naturally and safely.
One of the Indian nature's brain- miracle is turmeric
This herb has shown more promise than any other. It's a scientific fact that curcumin, an antioxidant compound found in the root of the turmeric plant, is one of the most powerful natural brain protecting we know up to date.
You might not be familiar with turmeric, but I strongly suggest that you include an organic grown root; powdered into this yellow powder – ( not the commercially sold irradiated version you can purchase in your supermarket) on your spice shelf. According to Joshua ‘s information, India has the highest per capita consumption of turmeric - and the lowest incidence of cognitive decline worldwide….
I need to check this out!
My take on Tumeric?
After reading many articles on this herb placed by different sources I was somewhat not too convinced as most of them were sponsored by revenue sources. So I gave it a try twenty years ago … Well my brain is still functioning according to my needs …
If nothing else you learn from this article, you might understand that the active ingredient curcumin deserves some attention from government appointed researchers who actually base their medication-research on causation of the illness they claim to want to cure – rather than carrying on focusing on masking their symptoms with one fits all broad-spectrum chemical compounds.
