Durban Christian Residence (DCR) is a Christian establishment offering safe, affordable and convenient student accommodation to both Christian men and women between the ages of 17-35. Situated at 311 Musgrave Road, Berea, DCR is close to most of Durban’s many universities and colleges. It is also a stone’s throw from Musgrave Centre, The Beach and Florida Road.

At Durban Christian Residence (DCR), student life is about more than just accommodation — it’s about experiences, connection, and memories that last beyond the year. 🕊️

Throughout the year, students enjoy a variety of events designed to bring everyone together — from our welcome braai that kicks off the year, to themed evenings like murder mystery nights, paint nights, and fun treat nights with slushies and candy floss.

We also have potjie braais, soccer tournaments, and end the year with a special Christmas dinner that brings the whole community together. ✨

Because at DCR, we’re always finding new ways to build connection, friendship, and a true sense of belonging.
