We offer 11 fully equipped self catering apartments, wooden dorm, double and twin cabins and 3 private rooms (sharing bathrooms) on the beach at Ansteys, a suburb a quick 15 minute drive from heart of the Durban city centre, ICC, sport stadiums, Ushaka Marine World and within close proximity to Maydon Wharf, Jacobs and other industrial areas. Some photographic ‘evidence’ of the fun and laughter that was had at our annual Ansteys Beach Backpackers and Heidi’s Café year end party. It was a hot, muggy December day and it poured with rain, but that did not deter anyone - we all had a blast!
Thank you from our hearts to all our incredible and amazing staff members for all your hard work and love throughout the year - we love and appreciate you all so very much!❤️

We are getting stocked up and ready for summer! 😎🌴⛱️We have some fun new things available in our little surf shop that are perfect for your beach day, or even as gifts! Options range from locally made & sustainable items from & Treasure Timbers, to fun kids toys, beautiful beach towels, surf accessories, T-shirts, jewelry, etc! New stock will be coming soon - if you have any suggestions of what else you would like to see in our shop, or would like to stock your items, let us know! We are open from 6am - 10pm ☀️🌴🐳
