Bummer just missed it. Flew away before I could get a pic. Over the last year or so we have had variety of never seen before birds in our garden. Towards the end of last year we had an owl making his / her daily snoozing spot in our Tassleberry tree. Not to the liking of the other birds twittering away, the owl happily sat dreaming the days away leaving just before dusk and reappearing after dawn. About two weeks ago a loerie was branch hopping. And now this littlish tweeter, a little bigger than a mossie, made its appearance. Creamish / Greyish under body dark brownish back with a red neck / headline. As it fluttered away a similar one appeared with a speckled black and white chest and belly and no red colouring.
Anyone know / recognise this description?
