Welcome to Grange Garden Hotel!

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the hotel,
Not a guest was stirring, not even an alarm clock bell;
The employee stockings were hung by the fireplace with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas would soon be there;

The staff were all home, nestled in their beds,
With visions of raises, vacations, and lots of other goodies dancing in their heads;
And the GM, in her winter cap,
Had just gotten home and was ready for a nap,

When out in the courtyard came such a clatter,
The night auditor sprang from the desk to see what was the matter.
Away to the window they raced with a dash
Tore open the curtains and turned on the lights with a flash.

The moon shone on the newly fallen snow
And the heat of the hot tubs floated up from the depths below,
When, what to their wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,

With a little bearded driver, so lively and quick,
They knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
As quickly into view they came,
He whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

“Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer! Now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! On, Donder and Blitzen!
To the top of the sauna! To the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!”

And then, in a twinkling, the auditor heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each tiny hoof.
Just as they were turning around,
Out of the fireplace, St. Nicholas came with a bound.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the fireplace he rose.

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away he flew, fast like a missle;
But they heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!

The night auditor, frozen in place,
Could not believe what had just happened right in front of their face.
Back to the desk they walked with shaky knees,
Happy the guests did not wake from their holiday Z’s.
