Separate Cottage has two en-suite double bedrooms (no single beds), sleeping 4.

It is time to spill the tea on why we have been so quiet!

The sad news: Johan Rossouw, the Rent-to-own Manager, passed away from a fatal heart attack in March. He was always super helpful with guests, had a wealth of gardening knowledge - his roses & proteas were a joy to everyone!
He also had his horses which were like his children, offering rides from Drak Sun.
He will be missed by many & may he Rest In Peace 😇

The good news: New owners and live-in Manager Jo, are ready to welcome you to stay in the now renamed "EAGLES LODGE ONE"
Only 2 Cottages are available for vacationers:
Cottage 2 is a 2-bedroom ensuite 4-sleeper plus sleeper couch in lounge.
Cottage 3 is a 3-bedroom ensuite 6-sleeper.

BOTH cottages have insanely great mountain views from own private braai verandahs.

The new owners live in the remaining 2 cottages with their super friendly farm dogs!

Dear Guests and Visitors

Please be advised that the Loskop Road (R600) between the N3 highway and Thokosiza is currently closed due to significant damage and a sinkhole caused by the recent heavy rainfall in the region.

For your safety and convenience, we recommend that all visitors use the alternative route via Winterton. If you are traveling from the Durban area, please continue on the N3 past the Estcourt - Loskop exit (Exit 179) and take the Colenso - Bergville exit (Exit 194) instead. Follow the R74 into the town of Winterton and turn left onto the R600 at the traffic lights. Continue for approximately 28 kilometers to reach our entrance.

Guests traveling from the Johannesburg direction should follow the standard route via the Bergville - Ladysmith exit (Exit 230) and proceed through Winterton to join the R600.
