Henties Bay Namibia Endurance Desert Challenge

We are incredibly proud of Anné Nel riding Moolmanshoek Rafiq, and Willie Nel riding Moolmanshoek Rocket, who will be participating in Namibia tomorrow in the 120km Namib Desert Endurance Ride!

Anné and Willie will be representing the South African Junior team with Anné as their captain.

Looking incredibly smart in Green and Gold, we wish them the best of luck for their ride tomorrow!

Welcome, little one!

Our first foal for the season, born on a special day - the 18th of August, Anné's 17th birthday!

Born to Moolmanshoek Jolien who we sent all the way to the Cape to be covered by Harmonie Kavalier, making him a half-brother to our gorgeous stallion, Moolmanshoek Galjoen, who we lost in a tragic accident in 2024..

This foal's grandfather is our stunning Moolmanshoek Ceasar, so he comes from great bloodlines!

Could this be a future Galjoen???

Just look at those legs!!!

We need a name for him starting with "Z" - comment with your suggestions!!

ERASA Henties Bay Endurance Ride.

We are very proud to announce that Anné Nel, from Moolmanshoek, has been selected to represent ERASA in the Junior Young Riders team, riding Moolmanshoek Rafiq.

Anné's perseverance and discipline led to excellent results over the last two years, including her selection for the Henties Bay ride.

Laura van Laar at the final station before heading for the finish line!

Some might have underestimated this gorgeous young lady, but she has proven to have what it takes to stay ahead of the pack!!

We had the privilege of hosting Laura twice at Moolmanshoek Private Nature Reserve , as part of her preparation for the Mongol Derby, training under the watchful eye of Wiesman Nel , 2nd place in the 2019 Mongol Derby.

Laura, we couldn't be more proud! You have had an INCREDIBLE race and we have all been watching with baited breath.

Now ride like the wind and enjoy every last second of this great adventure!!!
