After the wonderful rains of 2026, spring has put on quite a show at Nebo Mountain Lodge.

Our old cherry trees are once again covered in magnificent white blossoms — but these aren't just beautiful trees. They are part of Nebo’s history.

Scattered thunderstorms painting the sky over Nebo Mountain Lodge this afternoon. ⛈️ One valley in sunshine, the next under a shower. The beauty of mountain weather never disappoints.

You can also hear the sprinkler, a panting dog, breaths taken while trying to keep the camera steady, and then the magnificent rumble of thunder rolling through the Maluti foothills.

Nature doesn't need a soundtrack. It already has one

At Nebo Mountain Lodge there are no marked hiking trails here — just the adventure of finding your own path. We enjoy walking through the area and making our way to the top of the mountain, taking in the quiet, the views, and the beauty around us along the way.
