Congrats to 42 years of excellence Dixies Restaurant!!! Love this place💖💖

Today, 42 years ago Rein Tuzee bought Dixies Restaurant aka Cosy Corner Restaurant. Incredible and crazy years of hard work and fun times as well. From the bakery upstairs, pushing out the real deal Dutch butter biscuits and homemade Easter eggs, supplying well known chain stores such as Garlicks and Stuttafords as well as Checkers and Pick 'n Pay. Although Rein was a confectioner by trade, he loved hustling in the kitchen and the bar. It was always hard work and good times with his customers, who became his friends. His son's grew up in the business and all contributed their own ideas to grow Dixies. We are very proud to still be standing after all these years and are very grateful to all our customers for their support ❤️❤️❤️
