"I first booked a hike with Alocal Tours on the day after New Year's Eve, what an amazing way to start 2019. We first hiked Kasteelpoort all the way to the top of Table Mountain, which gave us impressive views of Cape Town. My sister is not a big hiker and I was really impressed by how our guide, Steven, was motivating her to go on. Honestly, I haven't met anyone who knew more about the vegetation, nature and the environment of Capetown, then Steven. What a way to discover the beauty and the charm of Capetown, can't thank Steven enough for that. We then hiked Table Mountain down through the Platteklip trail which felt like the reward of the day.

After the beautiful first hike, I was convinced to go hiking again with Steven. This time we did the Devil's Peak and the Knife's Edge which was quite an adventurous trip. You can already imagine the views and the scenery. I've already hiked for a couple of years around the world but I can tell you that this one will stay in my memory forever. The combination of the sun, nature and the scenery couldn't have been more ideal. Likewise, Steven was again of great help to find the best spots of those mountains as you would never find them without a local. Steven is not only a great guide but also a great guy and a beautiful storyteller of all the origins of the names of the mountains, plants and the districts.

On the last day before leaving Capetown, Alocal tours booked me a snorkeling tour with seals on Houtbay. When humans are in their environment, those cute creatures really want to impress so you can only imagine how fun it was for me. Definite, Ely, a must do when visiting Capetown"- Mitch
