Last week, we welcomed media and industry guests to The Wine Studio at Leeu Estates for the launch of the latest Leeu Passant vintages.
The afternoon opened with reflections from Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines Managing Partner Chris Mullineux, who shared the story behind Leeu Passant and the philosophy that continues to shape the wines today.
Leeu Collection Founder and Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines Owner-Partner Analjit Singh then spoke about the extraordinary quality of South African wines, and why he believes they remain some of the most under-appreciated wines in the world.
Guests were then guided through an in-depth tutored tasting by Chris and Winemaker & Partner Andrea Mullineux, featuring the:
2025 Leeu Passant Franschhoek Sémillon
2024 Leeu Passant Stellenbosch Chardonnay
2024 Leeu Passant Wellington Cinsault
2024 Leeu Passant Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon
2023 Leeu Passant The Leeu Passant
2020 Leeu Passant Radicales Libres
The day ended with perfectly paired creative cuisine at La Petite Colombe, also on Leeu Estates.
Thank you to all who joined us for such a memorable afternoon of conversation, storytelling, and wine.
