Our indigenous Fynbos garden is full of surprises. Look out for the small water channel and follow it to this installation covered by stars! Created by Andrea and the iron work by her husband Kobus Stander.
We do not use pesticides in our garden so you'll find plenty of creepy crawlies. Do come prepared to de-tick and bring bug spray for you and your clothes. It's all part of our love for nature.

Spring has fully Sprung and the weather in Franschhoek is great! The gardens are all blooming and the sweet scent of blossoms is everywhere! It's the best place to celebrate Garden Day on Sunday 12 October. Book your weekend in Franschhoek at one of our dog-friendly cottagtes for only R 3 600 for up to 3 people for 2 nights. Your fur friends come for free for the weekend.

The Sunet Swimming Dam at the cottages is the most beautiful part of the farm. Perfect for sundowners with the best sunset view.
During hot days, a great place to cool off too.

When staying with us overnight in one of self-catering cottages, our beautiful sunset swimming dam is just the thing for Sundowners at the end of the day. Take your provided simming towel and drinks up and enjoy the setting sun over the mountains. Your doggies might like a quick dip too. This rock pool was lovingly created by Andrea Desmond-Smith when designing this stunning Fynbos garden.
