Each living space boasts a 32” Smart TV, unlimited free fibre Wi-Fi, under-pod secure storage, and a sliding door that affords you all the privacy you may need. We have made sure that all the comforts you expect are provided, without sacrificing on style. EAT Our dark restaurant is special; it’s one of a kind. We have teamed up with Mr D to offer our guests the option of ordering in from any of their listed restaurants. No more fighting over which restaurant to go to with your friends - at Hippo Pod you can have your cake and eat it too! WORK During you stay with us you are welcome to enjoy the use of the large workstation located in each cluster of pods. The ample desk space, pleasant air-conditioning (a must in the African Summer) and speedy WiFi make it perfect for travellers who work remotely or those visiting on business. Along with your workstation you’ll have convenient access to a fridge with tea and coffee making facilities. We also provide hair dryers and full-length mirrors so you can make sure you look your best every day. PLAY While visiting the party capital of our country you’d be crazy not to check out one of Cape Town’s nightlife hotspots. Hippo Pod is located at the heart of the city with a view to making these hotspots accessible to guests. With such a cosmopolitan vibe, there is a genre to suit your every whim.
