🌿 A little pause at Nothing Fancy Accommodation 🌿
After the wild Cape storms of the past couple of weeks — the rain, wind, fallen trees and everything that came with it — we are taking some time to restore, repair and prepare our little sanctuary again. 🌧️🌱
For now, Nothing Fancy is closed for maintenance while we give the cabin and surrounds the care they deserve.
We are still welcoming family and close friends, but we’ll let you know as soon as we are ready to open our doors to guests again. 🏡✨
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We can’t wait to share the peace, mountain views, fires under the stars and bird songs with you again soon. 🕊️🔥

Fifteen days.
Relentless 🌧 Wild wind 🌬 Fallen trees everywhere🌳
No electricity. No water🚱 Just candles🕯, gumboots, patience… and nature reminding us who’s really in charge.

We have Thursdays as pensioners days for R50.00.
We do this do feed our rescue donkeys.🫏🫏
We stay near George.
