On The Rocks is located in the quaint village of Glengariff, 25 km outside of East London. (A part of the Jikeleza Route - Wild Coast) Wildlife, adventure & leisure activities, as well as excellent fishing & surfing are on your doorstep. Whale & dolphin sightings are common and can be enjoyed from the comfort of your holiday home. You can have it all in the malaria free Wild Coast; magnificent swimming and surfing beaches, (Queensberry Bay, Yellowsands and Glen Eden beaches are all within comfortable walking distance) excellent sea and estuary fishing off the rocks in front of the house, big 5 game encounters (Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve), quad biking, abseiling, mountain biking and sunset river cruises. (Areena Riverside Resort) abundant wildlife, adventure and leisure activities are all on offer within a 15km radius of the house On the Rocks - the house:
On The Rocks is a modern contemporary style home which is uniquely positioned less than 40 m from the sea’s high water mark and 400 m from a stunning swimming beach and river, providing an intimate ocean living experience. The house is luxuriously appointed with five bedrooms all displaying awesome Indian Ocean views. A sheltered courtyard entertainment area offers a swimming pool with an ocean view through the open-plan, glass encased lounges, dining room and kitchen spaces. A smart TV, surround sound entertainment and wireless Internet are available for the times between beach visits. There is an indoor/outdoor undercover upstairs deck with table tennis and couches for relaxing. The house has 5 bedrooms, 4 upstairs and 1 downstairs:
Upstairs:
2 main en-suite bedrooms with king size beds. One king-sized bedroom and twin LOFT (Mezzanine) beds,
One bedroom with a double bed and twin LOFT beds - these 2 rooms share a full bathroom. Downstairs:
A double bed room with a separate shower and toilet. Every room in the house opens out onto balconies with beautiful uninterrupted sea views. There is the option to have the house serviced; dishes washed, beds made and help with a general tidy up (laundry not included). Additional housekeeping services can be arranged for a fee if required. Bed linen will be changed weekly. Our handyman and gardener is available to work twice a week to ensure all outdoor decks, windows and barbeque areas are clean for your enjoyment.
