Connection session review-

I attended the connection session at Evarne’s horse hotel with little to no clue how working with horses would benefit myself as a Kinderkineticist and my practice. I came to a quick realization that this session is about your “approach” to the horse-, to the child-, to life.
My initial “approach” was very direct, big and possibly a bit intimidating, I was humbled to realise that this is how my clients perceive me. Once I understood how important your first approach is for the relationship being built, I was able to soften my approach, to allow the horse (child) to meet me halfway, think about it, and not get down to business immediately. It also occurred to me that when you give “them” space, you get so much more out of them.
This session was very insightful, and I’ve become a lot more conscious on my approach to people in my daily work routine. I would recommend this session to anyone working with people, the subtle tweaks that you make does not go unseen.
