Some aerial photos of the aftermath of the big storm that hit Cape Town and the Overberg region this past weekend. Hermanus is currently experiencing water challenges as a result of damage to the pipeline in the Hemel n Aarde Valley. We are very grateful for all the hard work going on in getting the pipeline fixed as quickly as possible and our beautiful town back to normal.

he Hermanus Whale Festival, a prestigious Eco-Art festival in South Africa that usually takes place annually at the end of September and beginning of October. This fabulous event brings the town alive during the weekend long festivities.

Our beautiful beaches are temporarily closed, so we headed up into the mountains for a walk in the Fernkloof Nature Reserve. What a special part of the world this is!
