What a fantastic experience to walk the new Hermanus Cliff Path - and congrats to the local engineering company for winning a prize at the prestigious SA Institute for Consulting Engineers. They were part of the team who designed the new section of the cliff path in Hermanus.
A very challenging project, from an environmental perspective.
Also entirely community funded & supported. Well done!

We're thrilled to announce that 138 Marine Beachfront Guesthouse was a finalist in the 2024 GuestRevu "Best Accommodation in Africa: Less than 20 rooms" category. The independent judges panel analysed over 75,000 online reviews from 55 countries, and we're honoured to have been recognised.

This award is dedicated to our cherished manager, Desre Dempsey, who sadly and unexpectedly passed away late last year. Her smile, spirit, ethics, and presence enriched our guesthouse immeasurably. We'll always treasure the wonderful memories we've made with her over the years, and she will live on in our hearts forever.
