Buy yourself a box of crispy hake & slap chips, drown it in vinegar (the more, the better 😅), find a rock with an ocean view, and wait for a whale to make an appearance.

If the whales don’t show up… at least your fish definitely did. 😄

A lesson from Mom. 🐋💙

Watch closely… Mom shows off an incredible breach, and a little later, her calf tries to copy her on the left. These playful moments are believed to help calves build strength, coordination, and confidence while learning from their mothers.

Just a couple of metres from 111 @ The Esplanade, this playful Southern Right whale gave everyone a spectacular display. Missed it? Don’t worry—these moms love to show off, and there’s a good chance she’ll be back with her calf!
