Klein Eikeboom offers a farm stay experience in self-catering cottages close to Hermon in the Cape Wine lands region of South Africa. Riebeek-Kasteel is the nearest town, so there are plenty of wine an

d olive tasting farms in the vicinity as well as many restaurants to choose from. All of the rooms are simply, yet stylishly decorated and will ensure that guests feel relaxed and comfortable. The kitchens are well-equipped and include a microwave, kettle, and a two-plate stove. Each unit has an outside braai facility where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Guests can bring their own bikes to explore the farm and the surrounding area, take a long walk and see some of the many bird species that frequent the farm. Flamingo, Fish Eagle and Pelicans are regular visitors. The Berg River Canoe Marathon passes through our farm every year.

The Berg River was named โ€˜Rio de Santiagoโ€™ by Vasco da Gama when he arrived in St Helena Bay in the 1400โ€™s. The river was named after patron Saint James, who walked The Way to Santiago in Europe.
