WORLD BEE DAY | THE QUIET ARCHITECTS OF THE WILD
Across the fynbos and renosterveld landscapes of Gondwana Private Game Reserve, bees are constantly at work pollinating one of the most botanically diverse regions on Earth. Every movement between flowers helps sustain the ecosystems that make the Cape Floral Kingdom so unique.
Many indigenous plants rely on pollinators to reproduce naturally. Without bees, flowering cycles would slow, seed production would decline, and the balance of these landscapes would begin to shift.
Though small and often overlooked, bees are deeply connected to the health and resilience of the wild places around us.
