Our new restaurant and function venue is really starting to take shape!

The building work is progressing, and we thought it was time to give you a little peek at what’s happening behind the scenes.

It’s so exciting to watch the vision slowly become a reality — from bare walls and building materials to the space where we’ll soon welcome you for beautiful meals, special celebrations and memorable moments.

There’s still plenty to be done, but we’re getting closer… and we can’t wait to show you more as it all comes together.

A Walk Down Memory Lane ~

Every farm has a story, and this little farmhouse is where ours began.

Nestled at the top of the hill stands the original farmhouse of Oudewerfskloof—a home rich in history and memories.

Already established when the farm was purchased, this charming farmhouse became home at the farm to the Brummer family as they embarked on the exciting journey of building the Oudewerfskloof we know and love today. It was here that dreams were shared, plans were made, and the journey of transforming Oudewerfskloof truly began.

As the farm grew, the Boord Manor House became the new farmhouse, and this original home took on a new chapter of its own. Today, it provides comfortable accommodation for the dedicated staff who continue to care for this special place every day.

It’s a reminder that every corner of our farm has a story to tell, and every building carries a piece of its heritage. Looking back reminds us how far we’ve come, while inspiring us for the journey still ahead.

Our Women’s Day Long Table is taking a rain check!

With the weather looking a little unpredictable, we’ve decided to postpone the event so we can enjoy it the way it was meant to be—long tables, beautiful views, and plenty of sunshine.

We’ll be announcing a new date soon, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you then.

The Countdown to our Women’s Day Longtable Lunch Event has begun~

Tickets are still available.
Join us for an unforgettable Women’s Day Lunch Celebration set beneath the open sky among the olive orchards of Oudewerfskloof, Stilbaai.

Overlooking the beautiful Goukou River, guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated menu prepared by Chef Suné Niemand, where every course is a celebration of flavour, perfectly paired with exceptional wines from selected estates.

As the afternoon unfolds, relax on the stoep of the beautiful BOORD Manor House and watch the valley transform in the soft golden light while enjoying a gin, coffee and indulgent dessert station. Live music will add to the magic of this special day.

Gather around our long table with friends and family to share good food, fine wine and meaningful conversation. After all, sharing a meal reminds us that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.
