🐋 Sardine Season - Whale Migration 🐋

The binoculars are out, and our eyes are glued to the horizon waiting for that unmistakable BIG SPLASH! 👀🌊

Contrary to popular belief, whales don't migrate because of the Sardine Run—their migration simply overlaps with it.

Keep an eye out for Humpback, Southern Right and Bryde's Whales along our coastline.

📊 The Sharks Board has recorded an incredible 208 Humpback Whales since Monday between Warner Beach and Port Edward, plus one Bryde's Whale off Margate today.

And that's only the whales spotted within 1–1.5 km of the shore. Imagine how many are making the journey further offshore! 🤯

🐋 Keep those binoculars handy—you never know when the next splash will appear! 📸
