We are located on the roadside along the R612, the transport corridor linking the South Coast of KZN to the Drakensburg/Ukahlamba Mountain range in the interior. Our village is perched on the second highest peak of the escarpment-siHlutankungu Hill-after which it is named.The winds that rush up from the sea are flush with water and condense at this high-altitude.This results in a blanket of mist r

esting languidly over the peak and the surrounding valley.Legend has it that travellers through this damp environment had to pluck their way through the mist as if plucking feathers-this is the meaning of Hlutankungu. Accommodation
