Hyenas aren't the mangy smelly scavengers that people make them out to be. They're intelligent and super playful and love playing in water! Our guests were fortunate enough to witness this behaviour recently.

Did you know:
1) A full grown African elephant can hold up to 20 litres of water in their trunk at one time which they then spray into their mouth. They need to drink about 70 to 100 litres of water per day but can easily drink up to 200 litres!
2) Elephants have about 40 000 muscles in their trunk (humans only have 650 in our entire body!)
3) They can detect water sources up to 19km away!
