Lights, camera… Muunga! 🎬✨

A few months ago we welcomed the incredible team from as they filmed Dorpie-Doenlys 3, and we're so excited to finally share that Muunga Bush Lodge & Spa features in Episode 4: Hoedspruit! 🌿

We can't give away too much just yet, but let's just say the bush put on a show of its own. 👀

Some places you visit. Others you exhale into.
Cool stone underfoot. The pool holding the last of the afternoon. Bushveld going quiet on the other side of the glass.
This is Muunga- five suites close to the Greater Kruger, where wild meets luxury.

In a lion pride, the male is seen as the king. But the real heartbeat of the pride? That’s the lioness.

She hunts. She raises the cubs. She keeps the family alive.

He protects the territory, fights off threats, and keeps rival males at bay. His presence alone is often enough to deter danger. But despite his power, he depends entirely on the lionesses for survival. Without them, the pride has no future.

Their bond isn’t about affection. It’s about survival, structure, and instinct.
There’s trust. Respect. A quiet understanding.
Each has a role. Each has a purpose.
And in the wild, that’s everything.

A moment of stillness in the chaos of nature.

I don't chase. I wait. Silently keeping the wild in balance, one meal at a time. It's not glamorous, but it matters. Every creature has a role, and mine is to make sure nothing goes to waste. That's how the bush stays alive.
