Did you know , that thanks to CoViD lockdowns wildlife had flourished and numbers of some species jumped up ?

Cheetah were not an exception. Thanks to no visitors in the parks they were able to communicate clearly with each other and warn each other from dangers ( which is usually covered by noise vehicles and people make).

Maybe Covid was not so bad than ?

The gemsbok (Oryx gazella), or South African oryx, is a large antelope in the genus Oryx. It is endemic to the dry and barren regions of Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and (parts of) Zimbabwe, mainly inhabiting the Kalahari and Namib Deserts, areas in which it is supremely adapted for survival.

This is becouse the spots shaped like a rose. Baby leopards are born with visible spots which merge as they grow older.

Did you know that a panther is a leopard ?

Black coated ( or melanistic) leopards, are commonly called panthers. They are often mistakenly taken to be a different species , but it is not. Panther is a black leopard.

А вы знали что пятнышки на шкуре леопарда называется розетто? Это потому что они напоминают роспустившиеся розы. Леопарда рождается с маленькими пятнами, которые при росте объединяютс и становятся похожи на все розы.
