A partial opening is expected in 3 months, with full operations only anticipated toward the end of 2026.

Balule: Extensive damage; repairs will take several months.
🌿 BUSH CAMP STATUS
Shimuwini: Extensive civil and building works required; closed for many months.
Sirheni: Opening pending the completion of an alternative access road.
Talamati: Opening pending the clearing of the access road.
🛣️ ROAD & ROUTE UPDATES
Lower Sabie Road (H4-1): We hope to see this route reopen within the next 1–2 weeks. (Current alternative: H1-2 to H12 and back to H4-1).
Phabeni Road (S1): Extensive repairs needed; planned to reopen in the last quarter of 2026. (Alternative routes are currently in place).
Important Note: Official alerts with definite opening dates will be issued by SANParks as they become available. Please stick to open routes and respect all ""No Entry"" signs for your own safety and the protection of the park infrastructure.
Stay safe on the roads and thank you for supporting local tourism!
